Three Waves

Double India pale ale

Back when Riverlands was just an idea, our Head Brewer Eric met Shaun Berns of Phase Three Brewing Company. At the time, Shaun was the Head Brewer of More Brewing Co. and Eric was brewing at home as often as he could, testing and refining his recipes. Shaun was generous enough to show Eric the ropes of brewing beer professionally rather than in his garage.

This beer was our first collaboration brewed at Riverlands, and allowed us to come full circle back to how this whole thing began. In this Double New England Style IPA we used a workhorse hop for both breweries, Citra. To spice things up, we also hopped this beer with two hops neither brewer had ever used at the time: Strata and Cashmere. The results were huge hop aromas and flavors of ripe oranges, passion fruit, lime zest, and some dirty dankness. We had a great time brewing this beer, and we hope you all enjoy it as much as we do. Cheers!
