ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Sean Shiel is a solo acoustic performer based out of a small town in northern Illinois. His music is an eclectic mix of high energy acoustic stylings that defy the traditional definition of the American folk singer. He tours the greater Midwest region and beyond, performing over 100+ shows a year. Prominently a guitar player and singer, Sean draws upon a lifetime of influences to produce a sound that is his own. This rootsy fusion of bluegrass, funk, folk, and a few made up words will surely get those feet stompin'. Thriving most in the live setting and averaging a hundred + shows a year, Sean has toured and performed throughout the Midwest.

Some friendships are formed through competition, forged like the medals won through sheer will and comradery. Our collaboration with Original 40 Brewing Company in San Diego is the perfect example of this phenomenon.
At last year's Great American Beer Festival, two barrel aged stouts rose above the rest to take Gold and Silver: our Barrel Aged Kamoho clinching the win, and Original 40's Magnetic Ribbon: Final Cut close behind in second.
Rather than meeting outside to duke it out, we came together, swapped recipes, and flipped the script by brewing each other's beer.
On Friday, May 29, we're releasing our version of their beer:
Magnetic Medium: New Cut, an 18-month Barrel Aged Stout brewed with Coconut, Vanilla, Cocoa Nibs, Almonds, and for even more authenticity to the original, Coffee by the same San Diego roasters, Cozy Canine's Muddy Paws Dark Roast.
On tap at noon and all weekend, with .500ml bottles dropping as well. No limit. Distro TBD, so don't believe anyone claiming they're selling it. ;)

Join Rebellion Kettlebell Gym and Riverlands Brewing Company this Memorial Weekend on Sunday, May 24th at 10:30am for our 6th Annual Ruck to Remember.
This 3.5-mile community ruck walk is a meaningful way to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country, while also raising funds to support veterans in need.
This year, proceeds will benefit the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans, an organization providing critical support and resources for veterans in our community.
The route will take us to the beautiful Fox River and through downtown St. Charles before returning to Riverlands Brewing Company with a food truck, drinks, and time together.
This event is not about being hardcore. It is about remembrance, community, and moving with purpose. All fitness levels are welcome.
Bring a backpack, comfortable walking shoes, and your support for our veterans. Add weight if you’d like, or keep it light. Rain or shine, we walk together.

Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to help eliminate needless deaths and inhumane treatment of animals. We do this by providing loving foster homes and medical attention for homeless and mistreated animals rescued from kill shelters and transferred directly from local shelters and communities.
We are committed to finding loving forever homes for the animals in our care. We believe in educating the general public on the issues of mistreatment and overpopulation as well as the need for comprehensive spay and neutering programs, including TNR.
We are a 501c3 Not for Profit Animal Rescue Organization. We are a foster based rescue. We are a group of volunteers who are rescuers, transporters, and fosters. We work with professionals including veterinarians, humane societies, county animal services, etc. that advocate for and save homeless animals throughout the State of Illinois and our country. The most famous turtles from Hickory Knolls Discovery Center square off in tail-to-tail races on our patio (or in the taproom if weather doesn't cooperate). Cheer for your favorites and win prizes! Raffle tickets available for purchase on the patio. All raffle proceeds go to Hickory Knolls to help fund their educational nature programs.
