Grab the fam and join us as we kick off the Riverlands Summer Camp Series of events with our annual Turtle Races, live music, and a fantastic food truck!

Stadium Street Eats will be serving up burgers, hot dogs, and more kid friendly foods from 12pm to Sellout.

Joey Wilbur will be playing between rounds and MC-ing the event for us again this year, starting at 1pm.

Then....races begin at 2pm!

Purchase raffle tickets on site in support of our local Hickory Knolls Discovery Center and cheer on your favorite turtles as they strive to be the fastest in the ring!

This event is free to attend with any purchase at the bar (beer, seltzer, snacks, pop/Izzes, etc).

Jason Benefield returns to our St. Charles brewery with a soulful acoustic set on Saturday, May 17 from 6pm to 9pm. Join us for an evening of live music and food by the Cousins Maine Lobster food truck.

Join us on Mother's Day, May 11, for a special instrumental performance, brunch, and BEERMOSAS!

Paul Bronson will be playing a live acoustic instrumental set from 1pm to 4pm.

Le Truff Noir will be serving up brunch from 11am to sellout.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Paul Bronson incorporates elements of rock, classical, jazz and contemporary instrumental music to a solo acoustic guitar format. His style is difficult to pinpoint and is best described as "Neo-Classical Artistic Guitar.”

Meet ‘Dog Country,’ a dynamic bluegrass duo blending originals, bluegrass standards, improvisation, and music from various folk traditions into their captivating performances. Ben Vogel (guitar/mandolin/vox) is a multi-talented guitarist, vocalist, and mandolin player from Palatine, Illinois. Esteemed for his exceptional bluegrass performances, Ben captivates audiences with his soulful melodies and intricate guitar improvisations. Ben's dedication to bluegrass provides him with a unique blend of traditional and modern influences.

Seán Carolan (upright bass/guitar/vox), is a seasoned bassist and multi-instrumentalist, brings a wealth of experience garnered from performances across North and South America and Europe, including his tenure as a founding member of the acclaimed Chicago jam-band Mungion and has also performed with artists such as Victor Wooten, Kathleen Keane, Simone, the Trinity Irish Dance Company, Jake James, Katie Grennan, and Dennis Mackrel (Count Basie Orchestra),

Music fans: buckle up for Jason Blake as he brings his Warr Guitar performance to our St. Charles brewery at 6pm on Saturday, March 29.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Labeled as “one of the most distinguished technicians on the Warr” and “a master of his craft,” Jason Blake is a Warr guitarist from Chicago. The Warr guitar is a twelve-string instrument incorporating the range of a guitar and bass. It is played by tapping the strings, a technique known as touchstyle guitar.

Our Winter Bluegrass Series concludes on Saturday, March 1, with a performance by the Rusken Bros. bluegrass band from 6pm to 9pm.

ABOUT THE BAND:
With its deep roots in country, blues and bluegrass, “Americana” reflects the authentic voices and music of our country. The acoustic trio of Russ Adkins (guitar, mandolin, slide & vocals), Ken Slauf (guitar, harmonica & vocals) and Tim Marin (upright bass, vocals) approach this music with deft picking and soaring 3-part harmonies.

The Rusken Bros. delve into this rich musical history with an eclectic repertoire that spans nearly 100 years of American music. From the early jug band tunes of Gus Cannon, the country blues of Big Bill Broonzy, Taj Mahal and Keb Mo’, the bluegrass of Doc Watson, Jerry Garcia & David Grisman, to new arrangements from contemporary composers like Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Jayhawks, Tom Petty and The Grateful Dead, the Rusken Bros. take you on a musical adventure that makes for a fun, entertaining evening.

Our Winter Bluegrass Series continues at 6pm on Saturday, February 22, as we welcome the Fox Crossing Stringband back to our St. Charles brewery!

Fox Crossing Stringband is a women-led bluegrass group from Chicago, Illinois that has been winning hearts with their beautiful harmonies, original songwriting, and entertaining stage presence ever since forming in November 2016.

Their sound stacks strong vocal harmony atop bluegrass instruments, with Despina Pafralides on guitar, Roman Niziolek on bass, alongside Cassie Wright switching between dobro and banjo.

Our Winter Bluegrass Series rolls on with the Miles Over Mountains Duo on Saturday, February 15th at 6pm!

ABOUT THE BAND:
Hailing from McHenry, Illinois, a small town on the outskirts of Chicago, Miles Over Mountains is a familial unit of like minded midwestern musicians. For the past 10 years, the group has been forging their own progressive acoustic sound, rooted in bluegrass, but shaped around original songs, reinterpretations of their favorite writers, and layered instrumental prowess. Known best for their live show energy and deep connection with their audience, the band brings that rare combination of music you can’t help but dance to, and emotive ballads that will have you suddenly questioning the meaning of life. “Our live offerings are meant to drive the vehicle in a sense, gas the tank as it were. But the intent is for that dynamic to shift in the same way as one's inner thoughts and emotions; Ups and downs, failures and successes, desire and fulfillment, darkness and light,” says mandolinist and founding member Sean Shiel.

We've welcomed them here many times in many incarnations over the past almost-six-years, so we're very much looking forward to their return as a duo.
