Our Belgian style Witbier is a classic with a bit of an American twist. We build our Wit with a base of Belgian Pilsner malt, a healthy helping of flaked wheat, white wheat, and flaked oats for a creamy, soft body.
We stuck to tradition in keeping the bitterness of this beer light, and we used orange peel and crushed Coriander seed for some citrus and spice and everything nice. A true Belgian Wit yeast strain adds some spicy phenol flavors to add complexity.
In true Riverlands spirit, we had to add a bit of our own flair when we added the rest of the hops to this beer. Mandarina and hops both in the whirlpool and dry hop provide an extra depth of orange-like citrus. Don't worry though, this isn't a "white IPA," our Witty Fox is a classic wit, but with its own personality.
