Turtle Races! Summer Camp Series 2026 Kickoff!

On Saturday, April 29, help us kick off our Summer Camp Series with one of our most popular family-friendly events:

TURTLE RACES!

The most famous turtles from Hickory Knolls Discovery Center square off in tail-to-tail races on our patio (or in the taproom if weather doesn't cooperate). Cheer for your favorites and win prizes! Raffle tickets available for purchase on the patio. All raffle proceeds go to Hickory Knolls to help fund their educational nature programs.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
- 12pm: Patio Opens with food by the Waffadilla Food Truck
- 2pm: Races Begin!
- 6pm: Music by Grant Milliren

All tables and seating are first come, first served. Please be kind and allow smaller kids to make their way to the front.

NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS ALLOWED.

Plus, enjoy the amazing kid (and adult) friendly food by the Waffadilla food truck from noon to 4pm!

The Riverlands Summercamp Series Presents:

Dave DiNaso’s Traveling World of Reptiles live at our brewery in St. Charles on Saturday, August 30, 1pm!

Dave DiNaso's Traveling World of Reptiles Show!

Get up close and personal with some scaly new friends this afternoon as Dave DiNaso's Traveling World of Reptiles take over our patio for a 75-minute show of snakes, lizards, gators, and more!

The show starts at 1pm sharp and is FREE to the public with any purchase at the bar!

All seats are first come, first served, so we suggest arriving early and grabbing lunch by the absolutely DELICIOUS (and extremely kid-friendly!) Waffadilla food truck serving 12pm to sellout.

Plus, Manbot Coffee will have a pop-up shop featuring bags of coffee for purchase and hot/cold coffee options to sip on!

Storm Science Weather Demonstration: Riverlands Summer Camp Series

Always looking up at the sky, amazed by the clouds and weather around you? Then the next edition of our Summer Camp Series on Saturday, June 14, is sure to be a big hit for folks of ALL AGES!

Join us for this FREE* weather education event featuring live demonstrations, photos, videos, and more starting at 10:30am! Doors/patio will open at 10am so you can get settled in before the main event.

This perfect family-friendly event features the Storm Science team! During their 60-75 minute event, kids will get to experience:

- Stories from Veteran Storm Chasers!

- Photos/Videos from the field

- Air Mass Interactive Demo

- Tornado in a Bottle Interactive Demo

- Van de Graffe Generator Demo!

(Think static electricity + hair = SMILES & LAUGHS GALORE!)

- and more!

Bring those hungry family members: Fernando's Street Kitchen will be serving up plenty of kid-friendly food, like tacos, quesadillas, and more starting at the end of the program.

*Event Attendance is free of charge WITH ANY PURCHASE AT THE BAR. Please, absolutely NO outside drinks allow. Drinks for both adults and kids are available at the bar.
